Third Poem

This poem is entitled "Ordinal." It was an experiment in stream of consciousness; I never pressed backspace once while writing it (until the end to correct for spelling errors).

Took pain in view of life
devoid no sanity
corrupted alongside
dark thoughts provide
inside
regardless worth inside
turned backwards twisted
without human legacy
fallen through pathways
never dusted
brambles choking lungs
torn ripped about existence
in agony
thrown through glass compressed
caressed
by mortal coil gored
and livid without sanctify
no reality worthwhile combustion
overthrows
outlasting goodness
deadened dusty candles
snuffed out over
long time days herald decay
everlasting into
eternal lines of time
stretch infinite towards
spread out darkness lasting outside
outside of time
outside of eyes
broken
broken lines collapses
blackness seeps in broken minds
lying twisted worked over
mortal pain the ages-old
time worn refrain
as times collapses inwards gone

is thought: why must things be this way?
